  1. Bad Experience 1 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jun 2012

My daughter has been using Nastia Big Swinger Double Buckle grips for quite a while with great success. I recently purchased her a new pair that are/were not up to the usual quality. She used the grips for two weeks. Today, one of the grips ripped between the finger holes. This is hardly the quality we expect and have received with previous grips purchased and used. So, basically, she was able to get two week's worth of workouts out of my $43.60 spent.

Reply: Debbie, I sorry you experienced a problem with these grips, however, the only time we hear of torn finger hole issues is when an athlete improperly enlarges the finger holes by hooking them over something to try and stretch the finger hole. We use a leather that is firmer than most of our competition and therefore will not stretch much. We include specific instructions on how to enlarge the finger holes, and they state, at no time should the finger holes be pulled, stretched, or cut with a knife to enlarge the holes. We can, for a nominal charge to simply cover the shipping costs, rematch the good grip and she should be back in business. Please let me know what you would like to do. Thanks, Mike
