A common misconception about wrist supports is that they prevent the wrist from flexing. This is not always true. Our wrist supports are designed to allow the wrist to flex. In addition, the foam and plastic insert system we use allows you to tune the wrist support for the exact amount of support you want.

Using the Tiger Paw wrist support allows you to:

  • Practice yoga longer
  • Progress to more difficult poses sooner
  • Prevent or reduce wrist pain and fatigue

  1. Perfect for Yoga! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Nov 2012

Support where needed. Did not slip in down dog. It does take a bit to break in but once you do, they are great. Provided the right amount of wrist support for me to work through my practice. The velcro does make a lot of noise when putting on and off so remember not to do this in a very quiet room with those who may be meditating or in savasana. But I think that will get less noisy once I break them in more. Do not know why other reviewer had such a hard time with these. Love them!

  2. Too Restrictive for downward positions in yoga 2 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Oct 2012

When I ordered these gloves, the online sight said that they were good for yoga. Well, when I got them, first of all, they were described as gymnastics gloves, not yoga gloves. Second, I found them much too restrictive for the downward positions in yoga. And third, the strap that passes between the thumb and fingers cut into my hand when I tried to do those position. I sent the gloves back.

First of all, they are a wrist support, not gloves! Second, did you bother to watch the video right above this review? I guess you didn't, otherwise you would have felt foolish making this comment! This wrist support is used by thousands of people world wide for everything from gymnastics and platform diving to bike riding and yes yoga!
