My daughter is a level 6 gymnast (11 y.o.)and has always used the Hot Shot US Glove grips. She started getting calluses and rips on her wrists and needed new grips so we ordered these for the neoprene lining. The fit on the palm was perfect but the finger holes were huge compared to the ones on the Hot Shot grips. These are probably not the best grips if your gymnast has slender fingers. Luckily they fit my 13 y.o. daughter, so she gets an extra pair of grips. Lucky her!

I was told by my gymnast daughter that these grips were great. She loved the built-in wrist bands and leather hand strip.
I liked the price

My daughter thoroughly enjoys the product and says it did not take long to break these grips in. Company owner answered the phone and guided me through the process of finding the right grips for my daughter. He expedited the order and it was at my door in no time. Will always order from this company first. Very professional and helpful.

im a level 2 gymnast should i use ladies grips or beginner grips (im 11)

If you've never used a grip before, we suggest you start with a beginner grip. After your used to it, the next step would be the basic Hot Shot dowel grip. These are designed for young/small gymnasts. When your ability level increases, you can go to the upper Hot Shot with a leather cuff, or any of the other more advanced models!

I did not think that these were bad but when I tried to put them on the Velcro kept getting stuck, not allowing me to tighten the strap easily. I would not recommend these grips to those who have fuzzy, or thick wrist guards.
USG Note:
That's why we also sell neoprene wristbands! :-)
