This is our basic leather palm protector. It's made from a soft leather that breaks in easily. The closure around the wrist is accomplished with a hook & loop strap threaded through a D-loop and folded back over on itself. This makes for quick and easy on-off action. Many people wear them over a wristband, either woven cotton or neoprene. See the bottom of this page for our selection of wristbands. The finger holes can be sanded with a piece of dowel and sandpaper to fit your finger size. For larger sized hands, see the EquipX-Fit Palm Protector HERE! Note: Color choice only effects the Velcro wristband!

I do in excess of 200 pull ups per week and this product does the job. Excellent at protecting the palms, only setback is that the distal ends of your fingers are still unprotected.

After looking at other sites and finding these for $16.97 I had to try them. They fit great and work very well. Yes you do have to fit them to your fingers and break them in but it's well worth it! I couldn't believe how fast I received them!

the finger holes are made for a five year old. Had to do major surgery on them to get my finger into the holes. other than that I like them

LOL, ya, this model is for smaller hands! The EquipCrossFit palm protector has larger finger holes, and sizes overlap at the small end of the range!

They do the job, plain and simple. No more gnarly calluses.

Crossfit Hook and Loop Palm Protector work great. They do need to be broken in for the best comfort, but once they are they feel awesome. Will get more when these were out.

There are better similar products out there. The fit is way too small, even after several workouts. I ordered an XL and had to make cuts in the holes just so I could fit my fingers through.

If it was too small then you should have ordered the larger sized EquipCrossFit Palm Protector! Others here seem to disagree with you...

I know the unspoken rule about "no gloves" in Crossfit, but after my hands ripping repeatedly and not being able to finish or do WOD's because of it, I decided it was a bit ridiculous. So, I broke down and purchased these. The reviews were correct about the finger holes being very small. I have very small/skinny fingers and I still had trouble getting them in and out, especially after a workout due to swelling. However; these gloves after some breaking in (have to be worn in just like a leather baseball glove) are a life saver!!! I not only didn't rip my hands but I think they actually helped my grip get stronger during WOD's...esp KTE, TTB, pullups, etc. Would def recommend. Just wish I had gotten a size larger.

We'll have a new model, with larger finger holes, in the cart within the next week or so!

When I first got them, which they arrived fairly quickly, I did think they were a bit small. Not only the finger holes were hard to get on the first time, but also the straps barely made it to my wrist. But of course it being a leather product, it will bend, mold, and stretch over time. After wearing them around the house a few times to get the finger holes a bit larger, it became easier to get them on (still a little tough getting him off after a workout but I'm sure with all the blood rushing around your fingers enlarge). So then after a few sessions at my box working on pull-ups, the straps came down a bit lower on the hand and fit around the wrist comfortably.

I had tried a couple other standard gloves for my Crossfit workouts and nothing was really working. These palm protectors are great. Even on the first day of use and breaking in they worked great. I did 8 rounds of Mary and amazingly my hands were not all chewed up afterwords. I trimmed to fit my fingers with a razor very easily and after breaking in its like a extra set of skin they fit so nice. Needless to say I am very happy, and the price is just an extra bonus.

Finally something that's easy to wear, much more durable than athletic tape, and truly helps during my WODs. I'm finally not ripping my hands anymore!
